MEET AND GREET

HELLO! There is no charge for your "meet and greet" appointment. Our meet and greet is a friendly time and a great opportunity for you to get to know who will be teaching you or your child martial arts, and for us to get to know you.

A typical meet and greet usually lasts 15 - 20 minutes.

We will take you on a tour of the dojo, talk with you about your goals, our programs and your options, next steps, general pricing, and more! After your meet and greet, there is no further commitment on your part unless you wish to proceed with next steps.

You will not need to dress any specific way or bring anything with you to this appointment other than yourself and importantly any significant other that will be part of the decision making on proceeding with next steps. If you are under the age of 19, due to Alabama state regulations, you must bring a parent or guardian with you. If you have a friend that is interested in martial arts, bring them along with you! There will be a place within the free registration to sign up a friend.

Since this is a personal, uninterrupted one-on-one time with you, meet and greets are by appointment only.

Randall started training martial arts at 10 years old. First with Capoeira, then Karate and Muay Thai, but ended up falling in love with Jiu Jitsu. Being a childhood fan of the Kung Fu series (starring David Carradine) back in the 1970's, he went in search of a kung fu school in Barra de Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Unable to find kung fu, he came across a school that said DEFESA PESSOAL-GRACIE JIU JITSU (Self Defense). He went inside and met Reylson Gracie! He continued training Jiu Jitsu with the legendary Reylson Gracie in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, until he turned 16 years old and earned his blue belt. Today, after 35 years of learning Judo and Jiu Jitsu, he enjoys teaching his students and competing in tournaments.
